Herring Cove Beach

At low tide explore this expansive beach that changes from sand to baseball-sized rocks across its 2-km (1.2-mi.) length. At high tide follow the grassy edge of Glansevern Lake. It is located within Herring Cove Provincial Park. It’s a mixture of sand and pebble, and also has a picnic area where you can enjoy your lunch. On a clear day you can see Grand Manan Island on the horizon.
