Belding’s Reef Nature Preserve covers a portion of a peninsula on the Bay of Fundy. This nature preserve can be explored by way of an easy, 0.9 km (0.6 mi) hiking trail, which follows the rocky coastline to a navigational light, offering spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy along the way. While the preserve’s main ecological feature is its rugged, undeveloped coastline, with shale and sandstone cliffs, ledges and reefs, it also offers the opportunity to explore a mature, mixed coastal forest.
If you are planning to hike this trail please park at the Seaside Baptist Church. The trail is a 5 minute walk from the church. Parking beyond that point means you are on someone’s lawn or in someone’s driveway and is not permitted.
