Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve

The Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve consists of 240 hectares (600 acres) of marshland and forest, which stretch along Taggart’s Brook and marsh, surround Sam Orr’s Pond, and stretch along Birch Cove and Berry Point, located in Bocabec, 12 km north-east of St. Andrews.

There is an extensive hiking system in this preserve, spanning 9.6 km, although no camping, hunting, trapping or logging is permitted. Can be accessed via marked trails on both sides of Route 127. Parking is found at the south trailhead parking lot.
